How I Got Here...
My love affair with art started early. Picture little me: covered in paint, proudly showing off a macaroni necklace (because yes, macaroni art is chef’s kiss). Fast forward a few years, and you’d find me oil painting with my dad, decorating eggs with my grandpa, and drawing goofy doodles with my brother. Basically, if it involved colors, glue, or glitter… I was there.
In high school, I was the kid at “tech school” for commercial art (translation: my happy place). By 1988–89, I had an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design, a computer on my desk, and the realization that digital design was my jam.
Since then? Oh, just a wild ride through food industry packaging, print shops, sign shops, corporate gifts, and even a stint designing patterns for The Sims Resource (yep — if your Sim was strutting around in a house full of cool patterns, you might have me to thank). By 2001, I ditched the 9-to-5 and became my own boss as a freelance designer. Cue confetti!
Now I’m obsessed (and I mean OBSESSED) with surface pattern design and Procreate illustration. I’ve taken courses, doodled my heart out, and squealed approximately 3,427 times (squeeee!) over ideas I can’t wait to share with you.
Todas la Cosas Creatives, LLC
And then came Todas las Cosas Creatives, LLC — born from one simple idea: creativity deserves to be celebrated, not hidden in a drawer. This isn’t just a business; it’s a colorful playground where imagination runs wild, joy gets stitched into every pattern, and art is made to smile back at you.
No, I don’t have my “big win” trophy yet (it will probably glitter-covered when it arrives). But honestly? The messy, magical, laughter-filled journey is the real prize. So grab a cup of coffee (or a cupcake), and come play in my world of bold, quirky, smile-worthy art.
